Melissa George is believed to have in contact with the police and been taken to hospital with facial bruising.
French website Purepeople says the actress who resides in Paris with her French partner arrived to the police station at 3am with facial injuries.
“According to statements by the actress, she was assaulted by her companion, also father of their two children,” another French news site, M6info, reported.
The 40-year-old actress was said to have been in shock and reporting symptoms of pain, nausea and dizziness.
According to Purepeople George had confirmed her injuries were a result of domestic violence caused by Blanc.
There are currently no reports of the 48-year-old French businessman being arrested or charged.
The two have been in a relationship for four years, and have two sons, two-year-old Raphael and ten-month-old Solal.
