Kim Kardashian and Serena Williams’ star-studded 2019 Met Gala afterparty was nothing short of incredible.
Moments after the lengthy ceremony finished your favourite A-listers headed back to their hotel rooms where they slipped into their party outfits and spent a few hours in hair and makeup.

Some of Hollywood’s biggest names including Kanye West, Kylie Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Jared Leto, Hailey Bieber, Winnie Harlow, Lupita Nyong’o, Travis Scott and Michael B. Jordan kept the party going with a post-event celebration at Up & Down— a swanky nightclub in New York City.
“The place was packed! It was a great party and everybody was having a ton of fun,” a source told E! News. “The top area by the DJ booth is where Kim, Kanye, Kylie, Travis and Kendall were most of the night.”

The venue was decorated with a sparkly night sky on the ceiling and red tassels hung from the walls. But perhaps the most exciting aspect of the shin-dig was the food! Kim and Serena opted against fancy catering and instead, hungry guests— who probably hadn’t eaten all day — were served McDonald’s and Casamigos cocktails!
According to insiders who spoke to E! News, supermodel Kendall Jenner let her hair down and partied until 3 a.m. before heading to another after party at Fleur Room at Moxy Chelsea. It’s also rumoured that Kylie Jenner’s baby daddy, Travis Scott performed at the venue with a bunch of special guests taking to the stage to let loose.
Inside the club, a photo booth was installed. “Serena and her husband arrived on the early side and were dancing and taking pics in the photo booth. They were definitely enjoying a parent’s night out,” the source added.
