Michael Buble’s brother-in-law Dario Lopilato has given an update on Noah Buble’s health after being diagnosed with liver cancer last year.

Dario Lopilato, the sister of Michael wife Luisana told La Nacion he is “doing well”.

“After these very long months, Noah is doing well, very well,” he said.

“For me it’s very difficult to talk about it. But I believe in God and sought comfort in Jesus Christ and a miracle from God came, from the way it was discovered, after the operation, everything.

“I feel it’s important to carry on accompanying. That’s why I stop what I’m doing here every so often and travel there.

“When you look at the big picture, and someone has a serious problem, everything else seems less important.”

He added: “The important thing is that we’re together and we’re living through this as a family.”

The 3-year-old continues to fight his battle with liver cancer.

Michael recently  pulled out of hosting the 2017 Juno Awards in April in order to focus on saving the life of his son, Noah.

In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Mike Cosentino, senior VP of content and programming at Bell Media, said: “Our thoughts continue to be with Michael – we respect his ongoing commitment to his family and look forward to working with him again in the future.”

The singer first announced that their son had been diagnosed with the disease back in November 2016.

“We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the U.S,” the couple wrote.

“We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.”

Michael also updated fans on the little boy’s condition in a statement to Us Weekly in February.

“We are so grateful to report that our son Noah has been progressing well during his treatment and the doctors are very optimistic,” he wrote.

“He has been brave throughout and we continue to be inspired by his courage. We thank God for the strength he has given all of us.”
