Despite multiple sources claiming Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter called it quits after two months of dating, this morning, The Hills: New Beginnings star left a very thirsty comment on the singer’s Instagram post, all but confirming they’re still an item!
After Miley shared a photo of herself from her performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival over the weekend, Kaitlynn was one of the first celebrities to weigh in on the epic snap!
“VEGA$ #iheartradiofestival2019,” Miley captioned the snap, to which Kaitlynn commented: “GET IT!!!!!”
It seems highly unlikely that she’d publicly comment on the pop sensation’s photos of they weren’t still together, right?

The news of their reported break up over the weekend came as a shock to most considering the fact Kaitlynn not only lives with Miley but has also met her entire family! The duo all but confirmed they were officially an item a few weeks back when they were spotted kissing and cuddling backstage before Miley performed her latest breakup anthem, “Slide Away”, at the MTV VMAs. After she belted out the smash hit— which details her bitter split from Liam Hemsworth— she was photographed walking hand in hand with Kaitlynn while on their way to an afterparty at the Up and Down nightclub in New York City.
An onlooker told Page Six at the time that Miley and Kaitlynn “couldn’t keep their hands off each other,” adding, “there’s no question they’re together.”

Last week, Spencer Pratt weighed in on Miley and Kaitlynn’s relationship— and he has a lot to say about the unlikely duo. Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Spencer implied they had an “emotional” relationship long before the “Mother’s Daughter” singer and her husband of eight months decided to call time on their decade long romance. He also inferred they were seeing each other while Kaitlynn was still married to Brody and they were filming their reality series as a couple.
“It’s tough for me to listen to Kaitlynn complain about people talking about her allegedly open relationship with Brody when we know she had a thing going with Miley,” the controversial star began.

Spencer— who rose to fame when he starred in The Hills— went on to defend his pal, Brody, slamming the couple for publicly displaying affection towards each other so soon after they split from their husbands.
“My favourite is when she’s like, ‘Brody and I were wild, young, crazy kids.’ Was that last week? Because you and Brody have only been together a minute. Are you older and more mature now that you’re chilling on Miley’s yacht? I would love to know Liam Hemsworth’s thoughts on Kaitlynn’s recent displays of ‘common decency.’ You know what I call ‘common decency’? Getting it on at your Italian villa and not in front of the paparazzi.”
Miley and Kaitlynn first stepped out as a couple just a few short days after Miley and Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth announced their separation via a joint statement to PEOPLE on August 10.
Although their separation was reportedly amicable, an insider recently told Page Six that Liam— who was in Australia when the news broke— was “blindsided” by the announcement seeing as the former couple hadn’t decided on when exactly they planned to tell the world. The same source said Liam was intentionally holding off on announcing the news in the hope he could save their “crumbling” marriage.

This supports sources from Miley’s camp who claim the songstress was the one to end their eight-month-long marriage. It’s been said that Liam’s alleged “drinking”, “drug use” and excessive partying habits became too much for Miley— who previously struggled with substance abuse.
“Everyone always thinks Miley is problematic and immature and a hardcore partier while he’s this chill surfer dude, but that’s actually [not accurate],” a source previously told PEOPLE. “Liam parties with his friends, and Miley thinks he should’ve grown out of that by now.”
Those close to Liam have since refuted these claims, arguing that they’re trying to take the attention away from “infidelity” on the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s behalf.
The former Disney star later denied these accusations.
