Miley Cyrus is one charitable lady!
After the devastating event that took place in Texas caused by Hurricane Harvey, Miley Cyrus has joined the long list of celebrities who have contributed to relief efforts.
While on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Cyrus opened up about the tragic event, explaining how it affected her and admitted that she is donating US$500,000 to the cause.
In between tears, the Happy Hippie Foundation founder said: “My grandma is sitting here and my mum’s here and I go home to my seven dogs and if I didn’t have that anymore, it would just be really hard. So I am really happy to help in any way I can.”
Cyrusalso added, “And I hope people understand and can put themselves in those people’s shoes and just to know what it feels like to have everything taken away from you.”
