Aussie supermodel and entrepreneur, Miranda Kerr, has shared some sweet, new details about motherhood.
Speaking on the first episode of The Ash London Podcast this week, the celebrity mum-of-three, explained that she was 27-years-old when she fell pregnant with her eldest child, Flynn.
At the time, she was married to British actor Orlando Bloom.
“I specifically said when I’m 27, I’m going to have my first baby. And what was really funny is that on my 27th birthday I thought to myself ‘wow … I’m 27 but that’s the furthest thing from my mind right now’,” Miranda reflected.
“Little did I know that I was a couple of weeks pregnant.”
Miranda added: “I remember I was in Paris at the time with Orlando and I did the test, and I was like ‘Oh my goodness, I’m pregnant, we’re pregnant’.
“We were so excited and happy, we were just like ‘wow, this is such a life-changing moment.”
Miranda gave birth to Flynn in January 2011.
She split from Orlando in 2013, and met her second husband, Snapchat co-founder and CEO Evan Spiegel, in 2015 whom she married in 2017.

“I remember Flynn, the day after Evan and I got married. He came running into the bedroom, he was like ‘is there a baby in there yet?’,” Miranda recalled.
“He was like ‘I want a brother or sister’, and I was like ‘one day honey’.”
Miranda went on to have two more sons – Hart, born in May 2018, and Myles in October 2019.
Miranda also reflected on being a working parent on the podcast.
“The amount of meetings that the babies have sat in on … he’ll sit there when we’re going through all the financials,” Miranda said of her sons.
“They’ve grown up having both of their parents working with their own companies and I think that gives them a good understanding of the importance of work, and also following your own passion.”
Miranda continues to co-parent Flynn with Orlando, who is now engaged to singer Katy Perry.
Orlando and Katy welcomed daughter, Daisy Dove, in August 2020.
The blended family have a close relationship – Katy and Miranda having jumped on Instagram lives together and supported each other publicly at various events.
Meanwhile, podcast host Ash and husband Adrian Brine are expecting their first bub who’s due in October this year.
The radio personality shared the news on Instagram in April, writing “I always dreamed of being a mama … and this October our little man will bring that dream to life.”
