Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom may have split back in 2013 but that hasn’t stopped them from being good parents for their son Flynn Bloom, 10 – and embracing their unique family situation with Orlando’s new wife and mother of Daisy, Katy Perry, 36.

The group have always been friends but it seems they’re even closer than that. Speaking to The Morning Show this morning, Miranda, 37, who was married to Orlando from 2010 to 2013, told hosts Kylie Gillies, 53, and Larry Emdur, 56, she’s “blessed” to have someone like Katy Perry in her life.
“I just feel so blessed to have her [as] part of our family and I think she’s amazing,” Miranda said from her Los Angeles home.
“She’s obviously incredibly talented. She’s always been so supportive of me.”
Katy echoed Miranda’s lovely words shortly after the interview on the program when they two appeared together on an Instagram Live to discuss parenting and Miranda’s KORA Organics skincare line’s new moisturiser.
“In our modern family, she’s probably the most health conscious of everyone,” Katy joked.
“One of the great things about being close to Miranda is I get to try out all her products, especially when her son [Flynn] comes home with them in his backpack.”

Speaking to the same program in 2019, Miranda said she’s “really grateful” for the relationship she has with Orlando and his new love.
“We really do get along so well,” she said at the time.
“We all have Flynn’s best interests at heart, in the interests of our family as a whole. And we just worked together to work it out… I’m very happy. It may not have worked out that way, but I’m really happy and feel very blessed that it has.”
Miranda Kerr married Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel in 2017 and has since welcomed sons Hart, two, and Myles, 17 months old. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom tied the knot in December 2019, and welcomed their first child, daughter Daisy, in August 2020.
