After pleading ‘no contest’ to the charges that were associated with a “mammoth mansion” he was developing in Bel-Air, he has been ordered to community service and three years probation.

Along with those charges, Mohamed will have to pay a hefty fine of $3,000, plan a way to stabilise the eroding hillside that his construction site has created, and pay back the city $14,000 to cover building costs.

Mohamed may also be ordered to attain a bond that covers the cost of pulling down the house, which could exceed $1 million in debt.

Construction on the mansion began three years ago, and Los Angeles Times reports that during that time, the city of L.A. demanded all buildings to be halted, but they “continued illegally on the massive house, defying the city order.”

Court documents explain that the house is “bigger and taller than city rules allowed,” and neighbours are complaining about the dirt sliding down the hillside.
