Aussie billionaire Adrian Portelli first gained fame thanks to his appearances on The Block from 2022 to 2024, during which he spent $31 million on several properties.
‘Mr Lambo’, as he became known on the show, was responsible for two of the biggest sales in the show’s history, but decided the 2024 season would be his last, going out with a bang by buying all properties that year.
Adrian revealed in 2025 that he was joining Channel 7’s new renovation series My Reno Rules alongside Dr Chris Brown and Neale Whitaker, a former Block judge.
When will My Reno Rules 2026 air?
It has been confirmed the next season of My Reno Rules will premiere April 21 on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
What is My Reno Rules about?
My Reno Rules will feature four teams of everyday Aussies, who must renovate two Melbourne properties purchased by Adrian for around $2.7m and donated to production.
The houses are located at 54 and 56 Pinnacle Cres, Bulleen, VIC, about 30 minutes from central Melbourne.
Unlike The Block, where the highest bidder wins the property at auction, this show takes a different approach.
The teams will renovate the properties, and in the end, two lucky viewers will walk away with one property each.
Channel 7 says it will be the “biggest giveaway in Australian television history”.
Can I watch a teaser for My Reno Rules?
Yes! Adrian shared a teaser on Instagram, writing, “Never in a million years did I imagine I’d be part of something like this. It’s a completely new challenge for me, and I’ve thrown myself into this project because I truly believe it’s going to be a serious contender in the ratings game.
“This has been a huge step outside my comfort zone… and I can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been working on.”
Dr Chris reveals partway through the teaser that “the rules can change at any moment”, meaning the viewers and the contestants will be in for some fun surprises and changing rules, which are designed to keep “upping the ante”.
Who is hosting and judging My Reno Rules?
Dr Chris Brown hosts the series, with Adrian, who reportedly pitched the concept to Seven after stepping back from The Block, backing the prize pool.
The judging panel will feature former Block judge Neale Whitaker, buyer’s agent and Luxe Listings Sydney star, Simon Cohen, and interior stylist Julia Green, from Greenhouse Interiors.
