The fashion influencer just announced the exciting news on Instagram, revealing the Managing Director of Medallion Financial Business popped the question over two weeks ago!
“A little ray of light in all of the murkiness 💍 Almost 2 weeks ago, Michael asked me to marry him under the most amazing autumn blaze maple tree, in the southern highlands.
“We’ve enjoyed keeping it to ourselves and living in a bit of a “love bubble” but we thought our friends and family might love some good news,” she captioned a series of black and white photos, one showing the 30-year-old flaunting her engagement ring and another holding her partner’s hand.
Although this is the first time Nadia has publicly confirmed their romance, a friend told The Sun Herald that they were dating in February 2019. They are said to have met at Montarna Pitt’s Pitt’s wedding.
“He’s her biggest champion and isn’t threatened by her success,” the friend said. “He admires her work ethic and the fact she’s a social butterfly whilst he’s happy to sit back in the shadows away from the social scene.”
News of their coupling came two months after the fashion ‘it girl’ split from New York-based sports media executive, Nick Adams. The Australian star announced their separation publicly, telling The Sydney Morning Herald at the time that she was “the most eligible bachelorette”!
While little was known about their romance, Nadia did admit that long-distance relationships were extremely difficult.
“[I go back to Sydney from the US] all the time. I’m coming back once every six to eight weeks. So that’s a lot… my boyfriend is missing me terribly!” she said.
