Patrick Dempsey is finally returning to TV

The wait is over. Patrick Dempsey is finally returning to our TV screens.

Two years after the actor’s Grey’s Anatomy character Derek Shepherd was killed off the medical drama, Dempsey will star in murder thriller The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair.

The 10-episode series follows literary icon Harry Quebert (Dempsey) as he is indicted for the murder of a teenage girl after her body is found on his property.

The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair also stars Damon Wayans Jnr. and Virginia Madsen.
