Pink has revealed that her and Christina Aguilera have made amends, and she doesn’t have any time for people bringing up their former beef.
The singer, 37, shared the news whilst calling out a Twitter who ‘celebrated’ her MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award with this tweet: “Let’s celebrate @Pink’s Vanguard Award with the only relevant video of her career, starring as Xtina backup singer,” referring to the 2001 hit ‘Lady Marmalade’.
Pink responded bye explaining that her and Aguilera are friends now.
Aguilera has not yet responded to Pink’s tweets.
Their feud allegedly stemmed from the time of Lady Marmalade’s release almost two decades ago, as explained by Pink in a VH1 Behind the Music special in 2009.
“[Label executive] Ron Fair walked in. He didn’t say hi to any of us and said, ‘What’s the high part? What’s the most singing part? Christina’s going to take that part. And I stood up, and I said ‘Hi. How are you? So nice of you to introduce yourself. I’m Pink. She will not be taking that part. I think that’s what the f–king meeting’s about.'”
