It seems like Prince George and Princess Charlotte aren’t the only Royals playing with colouring pencils.
Prince William revealed that his wife Kate Middleton is a fan of adult colouring books. The Duke of Cambridge made the surprising revelation while awarding illustrator Johanna Basford with Queen Elizabeth’s honour for services to art and entrepreneurship.
“Prince William actually said that his wife likes to colour in Secret Garden, which was really sweet,” Basford told the Press Association after the OBE ceremony.
“I’m working on a new book just now and it’s set in a castle, funnily enough, so I will definitely try to remember everything,” she said. “I’m sure little snippets of today will feature in the book.”
Middleton, who studied Art History at St.Andrew’s University, has previously showed her interest in art therapy for children.
