While they’re yet to confirm the sad news, they’ve unfollowed each other on Instagram— a tell-tale sign in 2020 that they’re no longer together. The model and former Miss Universe Australia contestant has also mysteriously turned her profile to private.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Quade and Laura, both 32, have been “on and off” for several months and have unfollowed each other in the past after calling time on their romance. In spite of this, when the outlet reached out to the couple, they re-followed each other and claimed they were still together.

In November, the beauty queen opened up about their extremely private relationship, admitting she wasn’t in a rush to tie the knot with the professional athlete.

“I think when you’re older and been with someone a long time, it’s not that it’s not a priority,” she said. “It’s just that we’re really happy with how we are at the moment.”

The couple met through a mutual friend, with Laura revealing they were unable to spend a lot of time together at the beginning of their relationship.

“We had a long-distance relationship for a while when he was in Brisbane and I was in Sydney. We’ve lived in Brisbane and survived a renovation together, moved to France for his sport, and now we’re in Melbourne,” she told The Sydney Morning Herald.

Not long after the interview, the couple— who listed their property in the north-east suburb of Bulimba over a year ago— sold their home for just over $2.2 million.

The two-story renovated home, which they struggled to offload, was unique and featured geometric designs as well as a grey concrete facade. It also boasted four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a pool.

The footy star bought the home for $1.845million back in 2015, while he was playing for the Queensland Reds.
