If you’ve been following the adorable reality show that is First Dates, you may have also become invested in the relationship between Kosha and Luke from Tuesday night’s episode.
A welcome change from the controversial and “fun as a funeral” personality that was Tyler – who expected his date Kristal to be a housewife (don’t worry, she declined) – fans were pleasantly surprised to see the sparks fly between the rom-com worthy couple.
Bonding over their love of Forest Gump and their “old souls”, fans became instantly invested in the outcome of Kosha and Luke’s relationship, predicting and hoping for a happily ever after.
“How did it end for them?” fans were asking online after the episode aired. “They are cute.”
“They make such a lovely couple,” another agreed. “Hope things work out and they start dating off camera.”
“Please keep us updated on them!” a viewer declared. “I really hope that they get together and live happily ever after!”
Well, we’re sorry to be the ones to share this news, but WHO spoke with Kosha about her relationship status, and things didn’t quite go the way we all hoped.
‘I was completely smitten’
When the pair first met, Kosha revealed that the sparks and chemistry were flying in real life as much as they were flying on our screens.
“I was completely smitten when I first met him,” she told us. “He was a pure gentleman; he came across as very genuine. Even though he was of this generation, he was an old soul like me, had kind eyes, and I thought he was really handsome.”
What more could you want?1
While the reality of there being “hidden cameras” on their date was definitely “a first” for Kosha. However, that wasn’t the only thing that made this date stand out.
“The other dates I have been on were similar dinner dates, but nothing compared to the date I had with Luke,” she said. “He was an absolute gentleman and adorable because the conversation just flowed an,d he made me feel seen by the way he looked at me like no one else was around.”
“Even though we were in a room full of people, I felt like no one else was there. Our date was definitely straight out of a romantic-comedy movie from all the laughs we shared.”
Okay, now we’re getting jealous.
By the end of the date, Kosha revealed that she “knew [she] wanted to see Luke again because of how much [they] had in common.”
“We were both Christian, he was a builder, and I was studying architecture,” she said. “We both loved the movie ‘Forrest Gump’ and we had a lot of chemistry.”
So, what happened?

‘Unfortunately, the stars did not align’
While Kosha told WHO that she was “completely smitten” when they first met, two years down the track, the couple are not loved up and living out their fairytale ending.
In fact, they didn’t even make it to the second date!
“Unfortunately the stars did not align and we did not go on that second date,” Kosha said. “I wish him well.”
When the cameras stopped rolling, she said that the pair exchanged “[their] contact information and hugged”, but then went on their way. Um, I don’t like this rom-com ending!
There’s still hope…
However, when asked about her current relationship status, Kosha revealed that she’s yet to find her “Mr Right.”
“Waiting on Mr. Right to knock on my door,” she said.
Did you hear that, Luke? Maybe it’s time for you to start knocking! Obviously, no pressure, but we love a happy ending…
