Illusionist Paul Cosentino – better known by his stage name, Cosentino – strolled into camp on Sunday night, becoming the 13th star to join this year’s offering – and, is it just us, or does it sound like he’s not there to make friends?!

(That old chestnut…)

I was an outsider at school, got into entertainment to be part of the group, realised I’m an outsider in the entertainment world and… here I am again, going into the jungle as an outsider!” the magician shared.

TBH, we’re kind of excited to see how jungle life affects the magician… who admits he’s never been camping before.

“I’m completely out of my comfort zone,” he shared.

“As an illusionist, it’s all about the control and I hope this will teach me and not break me, but teach me how to let go.”

But could the magic man have some surprises in store for his new pals?

“I have a couple of tricks up my sleeve. Watch closely – you never know what you are going to see when a magician is involved!”

Cosentino, who shot to fame after coming second in the 2011 series of Australia’s Got Talent, went on to win season 13 of Dancing with the Stars with his dance partner Jessica Raffa in 2013.

I’m A Celeb… kicked off on January 5, with celebrity chef Miguel Maestre bursting with excitement as he strolled down the red carpet to the beat of the drums.

Radio and TV personality Myf Warhurst and TV personality Tom Williams followed closely behind – but it was Charlotte Crosby’s arrival that spelled the beginning of drama for the season!

I’m so nervous. I am so nervous. I have never felt this nervous in my whole entire life,” the British reality star confessed.

There is not a chance in this whole entire world that I will fling myself off a cliff or out of a plane,” Charlotte added determinedly.

“I point blank won’t go. I don’t care who doesn’t eat. We could quite frankly probably all do with losing a bit of weight.”
