Who will host Love Island Australia? 

Fans will be glad to learn that the first teaser trailer confirmed long-time host Sophie Monk will be returning for another season of Love Island. The popular Aussie star has been hosting the show since 2018 and appeared in the teaser trailer to announce the upcoming season.

Unlike other reality shows that stick closely to their original rules and formats, the Love Island franchise is known to play a fun and loose game, mixing up the rules and formats of new seasons to amp up the drama and keep audiences entertained. 

Although we don’t know too much about the 2023 season, Sophie hinted at the “spiciest twist ever,” and the introduction of a “new villain era.” 

The trailer also hinted at a significant shift in power dynamics, with a “wicked new power shift” that will see “the girls hold all the power.”

We finally know the official release date for Love Island Australia! The new season of the show will begin airing on Monday, October 30.

In 2022, Love Island bid farewell to the late-night TV slot on Channel 9, instead transitioning to their streaming platform, 9Now, so fans can anticipate that new episodes will be accessible for free streaming on the platform.
