If there was one Married At First Sight bride we’d always be rooting for, it’s Lizzie Sobinoff.
After an ill-fated stint on the show in 2019 where she was matched with Sam Ball, Lizzie had another chance to find love the following season when she was paired with Seb Guilhaus.

Although things looked promising between the couple for more than a year after filming, Lizzie suffered another blow as the couple announced last week they’d called it quits.
Now, Lizzie has broken her silence following the news of the split – and the way she’s dealing with her heartbreak is extremely relatable.
Taking to her Instagram, Lizzie shared a glammed up photo of herself, noting the look was “not her current situation”.
Sharing more details of how she’s handling her change in relationship status, she wrote: “On the couch watching Heartbreak High (thank you Netflix) drinking green tea with tan on, in an old dressing gown and the ugliest pajamas ever known to man.”
Last week, both Seb and Lizzie shared the same photo and an identical caption to their respective Instagram accounts to reveal their separation.
“We have mutually decided to end our relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend. We want to thank everyone for the endless support we have received on our platforms,” Lizzie and Seb’s identical captions read.
They went on to urge followers: “Please be kind and respectful. We are aware you have followed parts of our journey, but please remember we are real people, and we are both navigating our way through this time to the best of our abilities.
“Naturally we are both aware there will be countless rumours and so on. Again, we are both navigating our way through this time so please be respectful and we won’t be allowing comments on this post. It is still fresh for us both, we just know there has been some curiosity as we have shared parts of our relationship online and we met on national television.”
The reality stars ended their posts: “We are both respectful of each other and are still involved in each other’s lives. We both have cherished each other and have grown together. We would like to send love and well wishes to all.”
