Lauren and Matthew were one of the first couples to call it quits on Channel Nine’s Married At First Sight.
Of course, that hasn’t stopped Lauren from taking a swipe at her ex on social media.
It has been revealed that the reality star has been liking users comments on social media that suggest Matthew is gay.
Lauren liked one users comment that read: “Matt ….. just admit your gay and get on with your life….”

She went on to also like a comment saying: “THIS GUY IS GAY.”
Now, Matthew has spoken out about her actions.
“I’m aware of the gay rumours and I haven’t refuted them because although i am heterosexual, frankly I don’t think that being gay is an insult,” he wrote to Instagram user mafsfunny2.
“However I am hurt to hear that Lauren is using homophobia to stir up hate. It’s not a secret that there have been issues between Lauren and myself – I asked the producers to tell her to stop contacting me as she continued to text/call/PM almost nonstop once we left the show and every time I blocked her she, she changed accounts.

He continued: “She can say whatever she wants about me but i think its abhorrent that she is using gay as a slur. LGBTQ people have enough to worry about in this country without someone who is high profile using their identity to denigrate their ex partner.”
This comes after Lauren revealed that she didn’t want to be in contact with Matt following their split.
“At the end of the show I decided I could not be friends with Matt because I was hurt and being friends would probably prolong the healing process,” she told 9Honey Celebrity.
“I had no issue with Matt being a virgin. I came into the experiment to find love and whether he was a virgin or not had no bearing on that.”
