Married at First Sight‘s Ines Basic and Martha Kalifatidis found themselves awkwardly avoiding each other on Wednesday night after the former friends were both invited to the same fashion party.

The reality TV stars were attending the Neon Model Management & Pretty Little Things Celebrate The Launch Of Summer party at Sydney’s Watson’s Bay Boutique Hotel when they blanked each other.
While the pair were BFFs during their stint on MAFS, they’ve fallen out in recent months.
The women kept their distance from one another on the red carpet and made no effort to catch up during the event.
Their bitter fall out came after Ines slammed ex co-star Martha for being “inconsistent” and “nasty”, and labelled their friendship “fake” during an Instagram Q&A.
After a fan asked the 29-year-old why she was no longer friends with Martha she responded with a video clip.
“I’m going to be so honest here and say that the day I met [Martha], I didn’t like her. I just found her to be very put-on, a bit false.”
“However, there was a show to be made, production wanted [Jessika Power], Martha and I to be friends, so it was like a fake friendship made for TV by production.”
“It worked out for the story line they had planned, it was edited greatly to make us look like the three b****y girls.”
Ines continued that she kept up her friendship after filming, however after a while the cracks began to show.
“Then I started noticing really large inconsistencies, and me personally when I’ve been asked to comment on certain people in the public eye I always refuse to comment,” she said.
Implying that Martha’s loose lips in the media were behind their falling out, Ines said: “I don’t like nasty behaviour and that’s something I’ve noticed with her, which is really unfortunate.”
Martha recently revealed that she doesn’t speak to either Ines or Jessika Power anymore.
The 31-year-old makeup artist told Mamamia: “I don’t keep tabs on them [because] they’re not of interest to me.”
