Ex-reality TV star Ines Basic isn’t a fan of Sydney’s Potts Point, and she doesn’t care who knows it.

It’s safe to say that the Married at First Sight villain won’t be writing any TripAdvisor recommendations for a stay in the affluent Sydney suburb, if her recent Instagram stories are to be believed.
Soon after the 29-year-old Brisbane resident had checked into her hotel in Potts Point on Wednesday, she took to Instagram to complain: “I’m really concerned I’m going to get shot or stabbed here, I want to cry!”
“I’m pretty sure Potts Point is the most disgusting place in Australia,” she said as she filmed while walking down the street.
“The hotel looks like it’s a third world country condition, I’m not kidding. It’s so bad, I am scared how I’m going to fall asleep tonight.”
And after entering her room, Ines continued: “Things are improving, I did get moved rooms as I have a fear of the number 13, and the last room had that number in it.”
After explaining to fans that her original room number had triggered her anxiety, she admitted she was starting to feel better after moving rooms.
Sitting on a balcony, she later added: “Outside I’m coping, like okay. The rooms are just so small. I’m pretty sure the people at reception think I’m 110 per cent psychotic.”
The reality TV star was in Sydney to attend a fashion launch on Wednesday night.
Ines came to fame after she failed to find love on MAFS and shocked the nation when she cheated on her TV husband Bronson Norrish with dirtbag Sam Ball, only to be unceremoniously dumped by the latter weeks after filming wrapped.
Despite making a name for herself as one of the biggest reality stars to come out of the controversial series, she said her experience on set took a toll on her mental health.
“When I watched the edit, I was honestly mentally traumatised from what I saw,” Ines told WHO when the series aired.
“I couldn’t believe it. It was literally sickening. None of my scenes were the truth [about] anything that actually happened.”
“I was prescribed Valium after the main filming and was in therapy. I was struggling with the whole Sam thing and how foul I was treated during filming,” she says.
“My producer worked me until I didn’t know who I was anymore, [and] I almost got assaulted on set on multiple occasions.”
