Jessika and Dan’s sleazy Married at First Sight affair is having some very harsh real life consequences for the pair, they’ve revealed this morning.

Following a scandalous storyline that saw Jess revealing she had found love with someone other than her onscreen husband Mick, viewers have hit the roof – with the usual trolling escalating into something far more serious and distasteful.
Things kicked off when Jessika asked to remain on the show with intruder groom Dan – and was granted that wish by the show’s so-called relationship experts.
Speaking with Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa, Jess and Dan revealed the extreme results of their controversial choices
‘We didn’t go about it the right way, but I knew what I wanted and I just had to do it,’ Jessika admitted of her controversial TV plot line, before Dan dropped a bombshell.
‘Obviously people get quite invested in the show, so there’s been a few death threats and stuff,’ he casually revealed.
Jess detailed the extent of the threats, revealing she’s received horrific abuse.
‘I woke up to a flurry on inboxes, people saying things like “I hope you get a noose and hang it around your neck and video it”, “You’re a disgrace to human kind” and all this kind of stuff,’ she revealed.
‘I usually hit decline all, but these people are quite sneaky…they’ll start the message with something like ‘lots of love’ and then it turns out to be really nasty!’
Jessika claims she is being unfairly portrayed as a villain by producers, but is ready to move forward with her choices.
‘We’re copping it quite a bit but we need to own our wrong,’ she said.
