Over 11 seasons in, not much surprises the fans of Married at First Sight Australia.
They’ve witnessed cheating scandals, dinner parties, intimacy weeks and their fair share of Aussie brides and grooms looking for love. But it’s late intruder bride Madeleine Maxwell, who’s piquing their curiosity this season.
The 30-year-old Victorian is set to walk down the aisle this week as she takes part in the Married at First Sight experiment.
Although fans don’t know too much about her journey on the show yet, the trailers and articles introducing the bride have caught the eye of eager fans who are curious to learn more about the actor-turned-medium.
Madeleine Maxwell’s Acting Career
Going by the name Maddy Jevic, Madeleine has a number of previous acting credits to her name, including appearances in Offspring, Anzac Girls, Wentworth Prison and Upper Middle Class Bogan.
Although she hasn’t acted since 2021, she is best known for her role as Amber Simmons in Home and Away.
“We’re all like a big family,” she previously told New Idea about her experience on set. “Sam Frost (who plays Jasmine) is beautiful – she’s one of the kindest human beings I’ve ever met, and has made my experience of joining the show so easy. And Sarah Roberts (Willow) is beautiful, too. Honestly, everyone is divine and we have drinks sometimes and chat. We’re all very close.”

Madeleine’s official MAFS profile on Nine reveals she was previously in a nine-year relationship, which she left after realising she “needed a man in her life, not a boy.”
With her new life calling, she admitted to the network that her profession has kept her isolated and single but describes herself as empathetic to a fault, fiercely loving and generous with her time and energy.
