The former model, who has recently been occupied with his clashes with Jessika, has danced around the subject of his tats for weeks now. But it’s been confirmed: the light dusting of apparent hair on the top of his head, which gives the impression he’s had a buzz cut, is in fact a series of tattoos.

Gold Coast company Hairline Solutions has ended speculation by posting before after pictures on Instagram, confirming he has had the work done.

‘Mike Gunner from Married at First Sight had his SMP treatment done by Aaron at Hairline Solutions in August 2018, just prior to the commencement of filming,’ says a caption accompanying before and after pictures on Instagram.‘We had been recommended to Mike by one of his close friends who’d also received a treatment from Aaron.’

It seems the company was incensed that a TV report may have implied he’d had the work done elsewhere, and decided to make the procedure very public. It’s unknown if Mike is happy about the move.

‘The Channel 9 news segment yesterday may have lead some to believe his procedure was performed by another provider, and these photos certainly clarify that misconception,’ read the statement.

‘Mikes hairline has been a talking point since the first episode of MAFS, and now it’s out in the open we thought we should reveal the truth of where and when he’d had it done.’
