In the grand finale episode, the pair made smoked hock ham and gruyère croquettes for their canapé, pickled kingfish for their seafood dish, red wine and rosemary braised beef short ribs for their meat dish, and a Dubai chocolate éclair for dessert.

They both had their families there to watch from the balcony in support as things heated up in the kitchen.

Their braised beef short ribs received a particularly positive response from judges Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge.

“This is like what I grew up eating. It adds a smile to your face I love that dish. Well done.” Colin commented.

“This beef is delicious,” noted the Meat Master, Michael Edelberg, another contestant from the series.

Their Dubai chocolate éclair dessert also received a great response with both judges scoring it a 10. “It’s a super moreish dessert,” Colin noted.

Justin and Will ended up with an impressive score of 73 out of 80, beating Maria and Bailey who cooked up a tart with taramasalata for their canapé, lobster and prawn raviolo for their seafood dish, chicken ballotine for their meat dish, and a red velvet and cream cheese cookie for their dessert.

“All that time away from the family is now so worth it,” they said after their win. “We’ve accomplished what we set out to do. We’ve made our kids proud. That’s amazing.”

“The world is our oyster,” Justin said.

Will also noted at the start of the episode, that if they were to win the $100,00, he would love to start a food truck and cook for the less advantaged in their community.

What have Justin and Will said about their win?

When speaking with WHO the following morning, the two told us that the win “still hasn’t sunk in.”

“It’s honestly one of the best things we’ve ever done. It was something that pushed us to our limits, but made us grow as cooks and as people.”

“We had a big viewing party, and some of the contestants came flew in to watch it with us, including Maria and Bailey,” they said.

Despite watching the grand finale alongside Maria and Bailey, they had a sweet message for their runners up: “We love them. Obviously they are who they are on the camera, and that’s fine. We respect people for who they are. And if they want to be that way, that’s them. But we have nothing but great things to say about them. So big respect and love to them,” they said.

Their advice for anyone thinking of applying next season? “Don’t think about it. Just do it.”

Who are Justin and Will?

Justin and Will are dads from NSW and have been a strong favourite this season, managing to stay fairly clear of the drama. As best mates, they brought plenty of banter to the 2025 season of My Kitchen Rules.

Justin, a gym owner and foodie Instagrammer, started out making videos for his gym members before building a popular online following.

Charismatic, cheeky, and delightfully messy in the kitchen, he draws inspiration from his South African roots.

Will, a former NRL player for the Wests Tigers and Sydney Roosters, is the calm counterpart to Justin’s chaos.
