Following their final tribal council, the remaining three contestants, Myles Kuah, Kaelen Lockhart, and AJ Antonios, were each poised with an equal chance at victory; however, only one could be crowned Sole Survivor, with Myles taking home the win.

Entering their last brutal challenge on the island, the top three contenders were tasked with standing on sharp and increasingly small bamboo pegs, and after three hours of pushing their bodies to the limit, Kaelan secured his record-breaking seventh challenge victory.

With the final challenge win under his belt, Kaelan was tasked with making the strategic decision of whom he would bring with him to the top two, and after much deliberation, he decided to go head-to-head with Myles in front of the Survivor jury.

Unlike Kaelan, who had only received one vote for elimination during his time on the island, Myles consistently found his name on the chopping block. Thanks to his unmatched skill to hunt immunity idols, the season’s ‘jungle rat’ consistently managed to evade eliminations while also orchestrating some major strategic moves.

“Coming into the game, I wanted to play a more low-key game and take my chances as they arose. What happened is that I found myself having to play really hard because I was on the bottom so much for the first half of the game,” Myles told 10 Play.

With the jury unimpressed by Kaelan’s final pitch, the former contestants agreed with seven votes to one that Myles was this year’s top contestant, with the 23-year-old taking home the season’s $500,000 cash prize.

Reflecting on his win, Myles shared, “It’s absolutely everything. I went on thinking I’d have a fun time and that there was no chance I’d win. It’s a completely surreal way to cap off what was an incredible experience.”

Congratulations Myles!
