Just two months ago, Locky Gilbert was announced as the newest Bachelor, blindsiding his Australian Survivor co-star Brooke Jowett, who he had struck up a romance with while on the show.

But now Brooke is well and truly leaving Locky in her rear view mirror, announcing she has moved on with a new man.
The reality TV star debuted her new beau, Chris Cavanagh, on Instagram by uploading a cute couple shot and sending her followers wild in the process.
“Thanks for constantly feeding me,” she captioned the image, where she can be seen beaming next to her dessert chef boyfriend.
Over on Chris’ own Instagram account, he shared an equally cute image of the air cuddling up together with a couple of red wines in hand.
It didn’t take long for Brooke’s Survivor co-stars to comment on the post, with Daisy Richardson writing “DEBUT DAY BABY”, while All Stars winner David Genat simply penned “hotties.”
In March, Brooke hit out at Locky after it was announced he would be the next Bachelor.
Taking to Instagram at the time, Brooke hinted she had no idea Locky’s Bachelor gig had been in the pipeline.
“My side of our story. Yes, I’m hurt and a little blindsided (excuse the pun) but I wish the best for Locky, I always will 💕 (Secretly I hope he stacks it and splits his pants on day one) Haha,” she wrote.
“I guess we had different things planned in our heads for what was to come over the next few months but you can’t be mad at someone for doing what they feel is best for them, even if it does sting a little..”
In the official announcement, Locky said he was hoping to find The One in season eight of the dating show, which is currently filming.
“I really want to find love. I’m pretty content with my life at the moment. I go on crazy adventures, but I’m doing it all by myself,” Locky said in a statement released by Ten.
“I’ve got best friends, but I want to find that one best friend that I can spend the rest of my life with. This is an amazing opportunity to hopefully find someone special at the end.”
