The Bachelor’s Cassandra Wood, was left heartbroken when she was sent home by Nick Cummins in tonight’s episode.
While, Cass never found her happily ever after with Nick, she believes that he has ended up with “The One.”
Chatting to WHO, Cass dishes on who she thinks has stolen Nicks heart and whether he will pop the question.
We are sorry to see you go, did you see it coming?
No to be honest, I had no idea. Hometowns went really well and we had so much fun. Then we came back to the mansion and there was that confrontation with Brittany which was unexpected, but after that I didn’t have a good feeling going into the rose ceremony, but before that, I honestly had no idea!
Why did you keep the extent of your relationship a secret from the girls?
Nick and I never got a chance off camera to talk about how to handle it and I had the girls best interest at heart and I didn’t want to make them uncomfortable. You are all going for the same guy and knowing that one of the other girls dated him wouldn’t make you feel good. I also had a chat to Nicks brother Jacob and he literally told me, ‘I would keep that to yourself.’
So, what actually went on between you and Nick?
Everything started in August which was my birthday, we kissed and then after that we went on a few dates and we would hang out. Then he would travel overseas and I was busy as well, and when he was back in town we would catch up. It was very stop start because when he was away we would chat, but we weren’t seeing each other all the time. I think the last time we really hung out properly like that was around Christmas and new year’s and then we were busy for the next few months until I saw him on the red carpet. I was happy because he is someone I could see myself with.
There have been rumours that Nick has already ended things with the girl he chooses at the end. Do you think that’s possible?
No, I don’t think that’s possible, I think he has found the one! I know the three girls left are amazing girls.
Seeing Nicks connections with the girls, who do you think will win?
I think either Britt or Soph, because I saw what a good connection they had and they’re such good genuine beautiful girls. So, I have my bets on either of them.
Would Nick be the kind of guy to propose at the end?
Possibly, who knows. I think if you’ve found the right girl and that’s how you’re feeling, then maybe.
Since leaving the house are you dating anyone?
No,I’m not because it’s a bit weird, you relive everything as you watch what goes on on tv, so tonight he finally lets me down, my heart gets broken but after that I can move on and focus on finding the right person for me.
