When it comes to stirring the pot or ruffling a few feathers, Richard Reid is a bonafide expert.
WATCH: Charlotte Crosby has a huge meltdown on I’m A Celeb
No stranger to spilling tea and subsequently sparking outrage, the gossip guru has finally given the people what they want and weighed in on Charlotte Crosby and Ryan Gallagher’s unprecedented jungle romance. Calling into KIIS FM’s The Kyle And Jackie O Show, the former I’m A Celeb contestant said he’s not buying the reality TV couple’s relationship, admitting they’re definitely playing it up for the cameras!
“Charlotte is really entertaining. A little bit goes a long way sometimes because she really loves the camera,” the Australian-based entertainment reporter revealed. “I think she does put on her little tanties. I wouldn’t be surprised if her jungle romance was a little bit put on on her part.”
He also blamed the controversial Geordie Shore for holding Ryan back from reaching “full potential”.
“I think she’s found a little bit of a willing dupe in Ryan, I do,” he added. “Ryan is a real funny guy, I really like him. but I think now she’s in his mind and I think he’s coming across really well. I think she is holding him back.”
Thankfully, Richard has found an ally in Perez Hilton who revealed last week that he entered the jungle with the sole intention of breaking Charlotte and Ryan up. Speaking to 10 Daily, the outspoken gossiper said he’s “so over” their confusing courtship and, as a result, has hatched a plan to stir the pot!
“I’m going to be interviewing them all and trying to get juice… and maybe see if I can break-up Charlotte and Ryan. It’s one of my goals,” the controversial columnist said.
“It has to be a bit of a slow burn and I have to decide what’s the better approach: to tell each of them directly as a viewer this is what I’ve seen, or is it better to plant the seeds in the ears of other campmates knowing they’ll tell Charlotte and Ryan?”
“You know, a lot of people out there are thinking the romance with Ryan is fake,” he said, “and it’s not a good look!”
In spite of this, Dilruk Jayasinha— who was the first campmate evicted from the jungle— is adamant the Married At First Sight star’s relationship with the Geordie Shore alum is the real deal.
“I have front row seats to that romantic novel, my bed was in between theirs for the first 10 days or so,” the comedian told News.com.au. “I find it so soppy and too mushy for me. I wanted more drama but it was all happy families.”
