Alongside her multi-hyphenate and pop queen status, Rihanna is doing it all as a mother to a 10-month old – including headlining the Super Bowl halftime show.
As revealed to TMZ, Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky had given birth to a baby boy on May 13, 2022.
The superstar couple announced they were expecting in January 2022, after months of speculation that Rihanna might be pregnant.
Taking to the streets of New York, they had photos snapped of them walking in light snowdrift, with Rihanna’s bulging belly already pushing through her puffer jacket.

Fans were convinced from looking at the announcement that the couple would be having a girl, based on the way Riri was dressed in pink.
She’s also spoken about wanting to mother girls before.
“I’m a Black woman. I came from a Black woman, who came from a Black woman, who came from a Black woman and I’m going to give birth to a Black woman. It’s a no-brainer. That’s who I am. It’s the core of who I am in spirit and DNA,” she told Essence in 2019.
However, we’re certain this little boy will be imbued with all the creativity and brilliance of his talented parents.
In fact, while Rihanna has kept much about her baby boy private (such as his name), she did take to TikTok in Decemberto share an adorable clip of her son enjoying a car trip.

Rihanna was also applauded by fans for her approach to maternity dressing, which often celebrated her changing body, framing her bump with lacy lingerie.
“When I found out I was pregnant, I thought to myself, ‘there’s no way I’m going to go shopping in no maternity aisle’,” she told Vogue.
“I’m sorry, it’s too much fun to get dressed up. I’m not going to let that part disappear because my body is changing.”

“I’m hoping that we were able to redefine what’s considered ‘decent’ for pregnant women,” the Stay singer went on.
“My body is doing incredible things right now, and I’m not going to be ashamed of that. This time should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?”
