Married at First Sight’s Martha Kalifatidis caused quite the stir at last night’s TV Week Gold Logie awards held at the Star Casino in Queensland— and the hosts of Sunrise are calling her out on her tacky behaviour.

This morning, the controversial reality star was slammed by Sunrise hosts David Koch and Samantha Armytage for allegedly elbowing him in the ribs while desperately fighting to get her face in front of the camera while posing on the red carpet.

“I’ve still got bruises in the ribs from the Married At First Sight woman who elbowed me on the way through on the red carpet,’ co-host Kochie said on this morning’s segment of the breakfast program.

Shocked by his candour, Sunrise newsreader Natalie Barr asked for clarification: “The one with the dark hair?”

“Someone is saying Martha in my ear. I could not pick her out of a line-up, but my god she got you in the ribs,” Samantha added to which Natalie replied, “she’s got an attitude”.

Adding more fuel to the fire, Channel Seven sports reporter Mark Beretta said, “Do not get between Martha and the camera.”

“Especially when you’ve only got 15 minutes of fame,” Sam teased as the panel erupted in laughter.

Their brutal attack on the Sydney sider— who’s still dating Michael Brunelli— comes after she claimed she’s been working hard to make amends for her nasty behaviour. However, since the season finale of MAFS, the makeup artist, who has been branded a “villain” and “mean girl” has been involved in a series of public rows with MAFS co-stars like Billy Vincent and Cyrell Paule.

“I have a bit of a bad reputation so we are trying to fix that. I probably have a bad rep because I sauced a girl on national TV, among other things,” she said, referring to the time she poured red wine all over her co-star Cyrell Paule’s face during a MAFS dinner party. “I know exactly what I’ve done wrong. People need to see who the real me is. No one knows who I am and what I am really like and I am excited for people to get to know me,” the Kim Kardashian lookalike said.

Although the Channel Nine star scored an invite to the Gold Logies— which saw Tom Gleeson accept the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television— her evening on the Gold Coast wasn’t as glamorous as she portrayed it to be on social media. In fact, Martha— along with her boyfriend Michael Brunelli and former co-star Elizabeth Snobinoff— was shunned from entering the ceremony and was forced to watch the Logies from inside a communal bar.

“Most of the media started getting their stuff together and leaving once the MAFS stars hit the red carpet,” a source at the show told Daily Mail Australia
