It’s currently one of the top shows streaming on Prime Video and it’s easy to see why.

What is Scarpetta about?

In the show, Dr Scarpetta has returned to her position as Virginia’s Chief Medical Examiner investigating a murder that harkens back to her first big case decades ago in the 90s.

Taking to Instagram, Nicole thanked the author of the original series sharing pictures with the caption, “Thank you, Patricia Cornwell for choosing me to play your Dr. Kay Scarpetta … I love her – hope you all do too.”

Patricia sweetly replied, “And Scarpetta loves you back.”
