It’s been four years since Selena Gomez dropped her album Revival – and now, finally, the 27-year-old has blessed us with fresh tunes!
After taking to Instagram to tease her new track, Lose You To Find Me, in recent days, the raven-haired beauty at last stopped playing and gave us what we’ve all been waiting for, sharing a snippet of the moody black and white vid (which, BTW, was shot entirely on an iPhone).

“Such a great song – thank you for showing such strength!” commented one.
“Thank you for showing such strength,” shared another. “We have all been there where we needed to lose someone to love ourselves.”
The lyrics are raw and give listeners an insight into what the star’s been going through of late.
“This song was inspired by many things that have happened in my life since releasing my last album,” she shared on Vevo.
“I want people to feel hope and to know you will come out the other side stronger and a better version of yourself.”
But of course (of course), the soulful tune has fans wondering just who she’s singing about – and only one name springs to mind.
Justin Bieber.
The pair’s on-off relationship dragged on for years, before they finally called it quits for the last time in March 2018. Just a few months months later, Biebs was deep in his relationship with now-wife Hailey Baldwin.

“Set fire to my purpose and I let it burn,
“You got off in the hurtin’ when I wasn’t yours,” croons Selena – a sly reference to Justin’s 2015 album Purpose perhaps?
“In two months you replaced us like it was easy,
“Made me think I deserved it in the thick of healing…” she sings later – apparently referencing Justin moving on to Hailey quickly after their split.
Within the space of six months, the pair were dating, then engaged and finally married – and seemingly leaving Selena reeling in the wake of the romance.
There are enough other references in the track to convince us (and basically everyone) that Biebs has yet again become the subject for Selena’s art – despite reports in early October saying she was doing fine.
“She is in a good place,” an insider told Us Magazine, revealing the pop sensation isn’t bothered her ex has found love again. “She knows she’s better off without Justin and that it’s the healthiest decision for her. She has been hanging out with old friends and family and keeping herself out of the limelight and away from public places where she might feel bombarded or overwhelmed.”
Although the source revealed the former Disney star is finally over Justin, she’s too busy focusing on herself and her mental health to jump into another relationship.
“She is open to dating, but right now, she is solely focused on herself and enjoying life to the best of her ability and getting back to being the Selena that she and all of her close ones knew prior to dating Justin.”
