Selena Gomez can’t keep her opinion to herself, particularly in regards to where her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber is concerned. The pop star reacted to Justin Bieber on Instagram after Bieber slammed fans on Sunday, Aug. 14 for being “so mean” to his rumoured girlfriend, model Sofia Richie.
In a comment captured by The Shade Room, 24-year-old Gomez called out Bieber, 22, for threatening to make his Instagram account private after fans belittled Richie, 22, with snake emojis and harsh comments.
“If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only,” Gomez wrote. “Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you.”
This comes on the back of Gomez’s attempts a few weeks ago to hint at a possible musical collaboration with her ex-boyfriend.
Fans were quick to note that Bieber indirectly replied to Gomez by commenting, “I’m not one for anyone receiving hate,” before declaring “I love my Beliebers.”
Selena then commented, “Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love.”
UPDATE: Bieber has officially just deleted his Instagram account following Selena’s cheating accusations.
The singer’s Twitter is still active.
