It’s been 12 years since Sex And The City wrapped up, but fans are still questioning when Carrie Bradshaw and her iconic girlfriends will return to TV.

It seems a reboot isn’t entirely out of the question, as Sarah Jessica Parker’s recent interview suggests Sex And The City could be hitting the small screen again sooner than expected. Speaking to the Press Association, the 51-actress discussed the possibility of getting the gang back together for a reunion.

“I don’t think any of us have said no,” Parker said of her co-stars. “I don’t know whether it’s a series or the movie.

“I think that remains an open question and discussion that will continue until it’s been resolved.”

“I think that’s always a possibility, definitely.”

The actress is currently promoting her new HBO show Divorce which follows quite a different storyline altogether – she’s a middle-aged character going through a difficult divorce. She has said it’s not a situation that she particularly relates to as she’s been married to husband Matthew Broderick for 19 years! Parker told PEOPLE earlier this year about her role.

“It’s not so much I’ve been in her position, but I understand somebody who wants to find fulfilment, they need to rescue themselves and their lives,” she said. “Also being a mother who’s concerned with making the right choices for her own children and handling something that’s potentially so painful, how does one – how do you talk about it in a way that’s not patronizing but is careful. That mattered a lot to me in how we talked about it.”
