Netflix has officially confirmed that it’s coming back for season two!!!

Yes. Yes. Yes!

The series follows a group of young people who are trying to figure out their own identities, as well as the world of sex and relationships.

“The reception to series one has been so exciting,” series creator Laurie Nunn told Thrillist.

“Seeing how people across the world have connected to characters that began as ideas in my head is incredible. I’m hugely grateful to every person that has taken the time to watch the series, and I can’t wait to continue this amazing journey.

The release date: When will it be back?

Netflix is yet to announce when the eight new episodes will drop, but we are guessing that we’ll see new eps around the end of the year or early 2020 because production is starting in the UK spring.

The cast: Who is returning?

It has also been confirmed that all of the main cast are coming back for the second season. Yassss.

So that includes all our favs: Otis (Asa Butterfield), Maeve (Emma Mackey), Otis’ mum Jean (Gillian Anderson), Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood), Eric (Ncuti Gatwa), Jackson (Kedar Williams-Stirling), and Adam (Connor Swindells).

After the cliffhanger that ended season one, we are SOOO ready to find out the future of Maeve and Otis.

The plot: What will happen in season 2?

According to the creator, anything is possible and there are no restrictions.

“It just feels like they could go anywhere,” Nunn said.

“I love the idea of getting different characters together – if not together in a relationship, just together in the space. Like, I never thought those two characters would have a conversation and there will be loads of opportunity for that.”

If you haven’t watched the show then you’ve got plenty of time to binge it on Netflix before the second season.
