If anyone was still unsure whether Stacey Hampton and Michael Goonan despise each other, her latest revelation about his devious ways has cleared things up.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, the bored mother-of-two invited her followers to send in their burning questions about Married At First Sight and her time on the dating experiment.
Expectedly, it didn’t take long for the conversation to veer towards Michael’s mischievous behaviour, with one fan asking: “Do you believe that Michael and Hayley hooked up now?”
Without hesitation, Stacey so casually replied, saying: “Well, because I am spilling the tea, he actually told me in the end when my ‘rumour’ came out that I cheated, that he did actually kiss her and he remembers.”
Umm, this is huge news!
The soon to be lawyer’s ex-husband has been harping on about failing to remember whether he cheated, insisting for months on end that a boozy night out left him with a cruel case of amnesia. Meanwhile, the rest of their co-stars have always been in agreeance that he’s fibbing about the scandal, with Hayley claiming he’s embarrassed because he kissed a “bogan”.
When asked during an Instagram live whether she’d give the controversial groom a second chance at winning her over, the reality TV sensation said: “I would rather swallow acid and die.”
While we’re not entirely sure where things fell apart, Stacey suggested in another video that Michael flew off the handle when word spread that she allegedly slept with their co-star, Mikey Pembroke— an accusation she’s vehemently denied since the rumour was birthed.
“You will see at the reunion that he thinks I cheated on him. Uh, Mikey comes back for 20 seconds of fame instead of 10, so that’s pretty much it,” she said.
Whether or not the affair took place behind the scenes has been a huge point of contention on this season of the strange dating series. As we know, Mikey maintains he “had sex” with Stacey after he parted ways with his television wife, Natasha Spencer, saying: “I can confirm we did have sex, but it was clearly after Natasha and I had agreed with producers that our relationship was over, and Natasha knew we weren’t together.”
“Mikey looks like my son, there’s no way,” Stacey said in February. “He is not my type. What happened was I was in Adelaide when he hooked up with Hayley and no one told me what was going on and I was all alone.”
She echoed a similar sentiment in a recent interview with New Idea, declaring: “Nothing happened between Mikey Pembroke and I. No sexual relations. Nothing. I can guarantee that. And I can sit here and swear on anything. I understand where the rumours came from but I swear that Mikey and I have never shared any sexual intimacy.”
