Kicking off on January 8 at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, the Australian Open is set to deliver some memorable sporting moments, with fans being able to catch a glimpse of the first 2024 Grand Slam.

When does the Australian Open start?
The 2024 Australian Opens starts on Monday, January 8, and will run until Sunday, January 28.
According to the provisional schedule, first-round qualifying matches will take place between January 8 and January 11.
During this time, the Australian Open practice matches will also be taking place, offering fans an opportunity to see some of the biggest names in the sport between 12:00 and 4:00 pm each day.
The tournament’s epic conclusion will begin on Saturday, January 27, with the women’s singles final, followed by the men’s singles final on Sunday, January 28.

Who is playing at the Australian Open Finals Festival?
If the action on the court still isn’t enough, the Australian Open’s three-day music festival is returning for 2024.
Taking place at John Cain Arena from January 25 to January 28, the AO Finals Festival will feature internationally acclaimed artists Groove Armada and Rudimental.
The festival also features an array of fan-favourite Australian talent, including Peach PRC, Ruel, The Jungle Giants, DMA’s, and Tash Sultana.
