What is Deliver Me from Nowhere about?

Set in the early 1980s, Deliver Me from Nowhere will explore the story behind Bruce Springsteen’s writing, recording, and release of his sixth album, Nebraska.

The album, which is renowned for its raw, stripped back, recording approach was made at a pivotal time in Bruce’s career. While he may have already found success with the 1975 hit Born to Run, and The River, Nebraska saw a 32-year-old Bruce return to his home in Colts Neck, New Jersey, where he recorded the seventeen-track tape entirely in his bedroom.

Two years later, The Boss’ status as an international rock star would be well and truly cemented, with he and the E Street Band releasing Born in the U.S.A. in 1984.
