If you’re a Reacher fan, then you’ll already know that the finale episode of Season 3 teased just enough of Jack’s next mission to keep us wanting more.
While we may have any one of Lee Child’s 29 Jack Reacher novels to draw from, Season 3’s interpretation of the 2003 novel Persuader has already alluded to the next chapter of the story, but will Reacher be returning for Season 4?
Will there be a Reacher Season 4?
In case you missed last year’s announcement, Reacher was confirmed to be returning for a fourth season in October 2024 – almost six months before the Season 3 finale hit our screens.
“Reacher has become a phenomenon that continues to resonate with our global customers beyond our wildest expectations, and we are thrilled to bring the series back for an additional season,“ Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, shared in a statement.
What will Reacher Season 4 be about?
While we don’t know for sure which of Lee Child’s page-turners will be adapted next, fans have already explored several theories as to where the next chapter could take viewers.
Series star Alan Ritchson, who portrays the title character, previously told Men’s Journal that he hopes Die Trying, the second novel of the franchise, becomes the next to receive a screen adaptation.
“There’s been a lot of discussion about whether or not we should or should not. I guess we’ll see what the future holds. I’ll find a way,” he shared.
Who is the cast of Reacher Season 4?
While there’s no official word on the full cast, some familiar faces will likely return alongside Alan Ritchson as Reacher.
Maria Sten, who plays Frances Neagley, is set to receive her own spin-off show, so she will likely feature in the upcoming season.
When is the Reacher Season 4 release date?
Although a Season 4 release date has yet to be confirmed, filming for the latest Reacher instalment is expected to start in mid-2025 – signalling at least a mid-2026 release date.
