Okay, we didn’t know that doing a deal with the devil to kickstart your failed career as a country music star was a story that we needed, but after watching the first trailer of The Bondsman, consider us obsessed.
The eight-part series, which stars Kevin Bacon as the demon slayer/budding musician, has quickly gone viral on social media and if you’re on the lookout for a new short and snappy silly goofy series, here’s everything you need to know.

What is The Bondsman about?
In a unique twist on the typical tale, The Bondsman follows Hub Halloran, a murdered bounty hunter, who is suddenly resurrected by the Devil to capture demons that have escaped from Hell.
As Hub returns to the land of the living to hunt for these supernatural fugitives, he suddenly begins to grapple with the reality of his afterlife and kickstart his journey to understand why his soul had been condemned and how he could redeem himself (and uncover a second chance at his country music career, of course).
The show blends elements of supernatural horror, action, and drama all set across a backdrop of a good old-fashioned cowboy hoedown.

Who is the cast of The Bondsman?
Footloose star Kevin Bacon makes his long-awaited return to TV as the series’ bounty hunter Hub Halloran.
Speaking to Deadline at SXSW, Kevin teased that fans can expect a “laugh-out-loud funny, hilarious, blood-soaked demon-hunting ride.”
Also joining the cast is singer Jennifer Nettles and Reacher’s Maxwell Jenkins who will portray Hub’s ex-wife Maryanne Dice and their son, Cade Halloran.
The Artful Dodger’s Damon Herriman stars alongside Kevin as Maryanne’s new partner and country music club owner Lucky Callahan.
