Will it be better than her husband's?

She may have taken some convincing to do it, but Victoria Beckham is now about halfway through shooting her highly anticipated documentary for Netflix.

The cameras started rolling on the series, tentatively titled Victoria Beckham, last September and will keep shooting until June. The release date is tipped to be before the end of 2025.

Victoria, 50, said no to the project for a long time. But eventually husband David Beckham, who admits his wife stole the show in his hit Netflix documentary, Beckham, convinced her to put herself at the centre of her own story.

“It wasn’t the easiest thing to get her to agree to, but in my opinion, she was the star of mine,” the 49-year-old former soccer legend told UK Today last month.

“So I just thought this is the opportunity, because she’s been working on our brand for the last 18 years, and she’s unbelievably hardworking, and no-one gets to see that.”

Early footage from the doco was shared at a special Netflix event in the UK in February 2025. It previewed what was coming on the streamer in the months ahead.

What will the Victoria Beckham documentary be about?

As we now know, at least some of the docuseries will focus on the lead-up to her fashion show in Paris last year.

According to reports, the short clip showed Victoria horrified as pouring rain threatens to wreck the outdoor catwalk under a marquee in the Château de Bagatelle in Paris.

As she’s being driven to the show, Posh ponders to the camera: “I want to know why I keep doing this when I don’t really need to… It can’t just be because I’m passionate about fashion and beauty.”

With the catwalked soaked, Victoria is forced to make an on-the-spot decision about whether or not to go ahead with the show. An assistant tells her, “it’s up to you Victoria.”

We know she goes on with the show – but not without some jittery moments.

The fly-on-the wall documentary promises to showcase Victoria in her element. It will also give an insight into her day-to-day and decision-making in the cutthroat world of fashion.

In another clip shown at Next on Netflix, she’s seen riding in the backseat of a car. She reflects that she hopes by making the documentary she will find out why she felt driven to launch her business when she “didn’t need to” do so, according to the Daily Mail.

“I hope this will be like therapy,” she says.

According to reports, the couple’s four children, Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 13, will appear but will not be interviewed. However, it is expected David will be – perhaps giving him the chance to upstage his wife!

Where can I watch the Victoria Beckham documentary?

As yet, there is no release date for the documentary. But it is expected to come to Netflix before the end of 2025. We’ll keep you posted as soon as there’s a premiere date.

In the meantime, you can catch up on husband David’s doco Beckham on the streamer.
