Taking to Instagram, Martine McCutcheon, best known for her role as Hugh Grant’s secretary-turned-love interest Natalie, hinted at the exciting project.

“I have just been filming something for the delightful Richard Curtis. He is doing something which is going to be celebrating Love Actually big time,” she shared.

To the delight of fans, the cast previously reunited in 2017 to commemorate Red Nose Day, with the Red Nose Day Actually special serving as a short sequel to the original story.

Not that we’re biased, but we think Love Actually is one of the best Christmas movies of all time, thanks to its heartbreaking plotlines (Alan Rickman we are looking at you), Christmas nativity lobsters, and Hugh Grant’s adorable dancing.

Most recently, the cast reunited to mark the film’s 20th anniversary, with U.S. TV anchor Diane Sawyer sitting down with the cast in November 2022 as part of the reunion special aptly titled The Laughter & Secrets of Love Actually: 20 Years Later.

Who will feature in the Love Actually reunion?

For Richard Curtis’ 2023 project, only Martine McCutcheon has confirmed her appearance, however, we’ll be sure to keep a close eye out for any glimpse of the original cast returning.

In the 2022 special The Laughter & Secrets of Love Actually: 20 Years Later, host Diane Sawyer interviewed director Richard Curtis and original cast members Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Bill Nighy, Laura Linney, Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Olivia Olson.

Red Nose Day Actually marked the most recent full-cast reunion. Set 13 years after the events of the original film, the 15-minute film reconnected fans with some of the film’s most beloved characters and provided a highly-anticipated update on how the characters’ stories had developed after the heartwarming conclusion of the original film.

Notably absent from the 2017 reunion was Emma Thompson, who opted not to participate following the passing of her on-screen husband Alan Rickman.
