Get ready to grab your passport and dust off your uniform – class is back in session for a second season of XO, Kitty.
After dropping the first teaser in December 2024, fans are eagerly counting down the days until we return to South Korea for the next instalment of Kitty Song Covey’s hilariously heartwarming matchmaking.
If the Season 1 cliffhanger is anything to go by, the story of Kitty’s love triangle is far from over and, based on the snippets we’ve seen so far (aka the return of *the* Peter Kavinsky), we’re undoubtedly in for another emotional season.
Can’t wait to return to KISS? Keep scrolling to find out everything we know about XO, Kitty Season 2.

What is XO, Kitty about?
XO, Kitty is a spin-off series of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before franchise. Taking centre stage in the series is Lara Jean’s youngest sister Kitty who, after receiving a scholarship at a school in Seoul, travels to South Korea to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend Dae.
While her reunion with Dae may have been unconventional, Kitty’s heart is soon put through an emotional rollercoaster, and it’s safe to say that Season 1 was love triangles galore!
At the conclusion of Season 1, we see Kitty headed back to the U.S. and her heart torn between three romantic options, leaving fans eager for answers to the heart-wrenching cliffhanger.

Who does Kitty end up with?
Okay, so she has options, but who does Kitty’s heart choose? Well, after the end of Season 1, fans have been on the lookout for any clues about who Kitty decided to pursue a relationship with.
Despite her character having captured the hearts of many of her classmates, XO, Kitty star Anna Cathcart tells Tudum, “Kitty doesn’t need a person, obviously. It’s very cool that she doesn’t have a person by the end.”
“She’s essentially choosing herself and choosing the space to figure that out… The best choice you can make is one that you feel is right in your gut.”
Unfortunately for fans, the first teaser for Season 2 doesn’t provide any additional clarity, but what we *do* see is that Kitty shared that she wants to focus her attention on dating girls, however, she’s still not over Yuri and things between her and Min Ho are as complicated as ever.
When is XO, Kitty Season 2 coming out?
Missed out on all the high school drama? You’ll be happy to know that we don’t have to wait *too* long until class is back in session, with Netflix confirming that XO, Kitty Season 2 will premiere on January 16, 2025.

Who is the cast of XO, Kitty?
While the announcement of Season 2 was exciting enough, it was also revealed that three new faces would soon be joining the cast of XO, Kitty.
Joining the cast as a new series regular Stella is Wyrm’s Audrey Huynh, with Sasha Bhasin and Joshua Lee joining as recurring characters Praveena and Jin.
Returning for another year at KISS is Anna Cathcart as Kitty Song Covey, Minyeong Choi as Dae, Gia Kim as Yuri, Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho, Anthony Keyvan as Q, Peter Thurnwald as Alex, and Regan Aliyah and Juliana.
In an unexpected move, the first trailer for Season 2 also saw To All the Boys heartthrob Peter Kavinsky, played by Noah Centineo, swap Stanford for Seoul as he reunited with Lara Jean’s little sister.
