Taylor Kinney and Lady Gaga called off their engagement one month ago, but the couple haven’t completely ruled out getting back together.
A source close to Kinney told US Weekly, “Taylor really hopes they’ll get back together.”
Adding that the pair “have been talking.”
The Chicago Fire actor, 35, and the “Bad Romance” singer, 30, who got engaged on Valentines Day in 2015, ended their 17-month engagement in July, citing distance and conflicting work schedules.
Following their split, Gaga reassured fans she and Kinney are “soulmates” as she seemed to be leaving the door open to revisiting their love.
She wrote in a heartbreaking Instagram post: “Taylor and I have always believed we are soul mates.
“Just like all couples, we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared.
“Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else, and we really love each other,” she wrote.
Gaga recently moved her things out of the actor’s Chicago apartment, however held onto her heart-shaped 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring.
An inside told US Weekly: “There is absolutely still a chance they can get back together. She still feels terrible and hopes it can work out.”
