Taylor Swift and surprise new beau Tom Hiddleston have taken their romance to the next level with the singer, 26, bringing him home to Nashville to meet her closest childhood friend, Abigail Anderson.
The pair put their love of dancing to good use, busting some moves (like they did at May 2’s Met Ball) at Selena Gomez’s Revival Tour. Swift and Hiddleston, 35, were captured on Snapchat by several friends including Anderson, bopping along at Selena’s show.
Gomez told James Corden this month she considers herself to be an ‘O.G.’ or ‘original’ member of Swift’s famous Girl Squad, so observers say it speaks volumes her concert was chosen by Swift as a public date with the actor.
Nashville has special significance to Swift as it was where her career as a teenage singer took off. She convinced her parents to pack up their lives in Pennsylvania and relocate to Tennessee in her quest for music stardom. She now owns property in the country music capital, where Anderson also lives. Swift also bought a lavish property for her mother and step father in 2011 in a neighbouring area.
The sudden romance between England’s most eligible Avenger and Swift came to light when they kissed on a beach near her Rhode Island holiday house on June 14, then took her private jet to New York. The creative couple haven’t made it Instagram official yet, but Taylor’s ex, DJ Calvin Harris, weighed in on her new relationship on June 16: “It’s all good, she’s just doing her thing.”
