Taylor Swift, 26, is currently enjoying some time off with her new beau Tom Hiddleston in Australia, but on July 12 she donated some of her free time to some very special fans.
The pop singer, who was recently named by Forbes as the highest paid celebrity, made a surprise visit to Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in South Brisbane to pay a visit to some young patients.
“Thank you Taylor Swift for dropping by the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital this afternoon to give our patients and families a special surprise they’ll never forget,” the health centre wrote on Facebook. “They’ll never ‘shake off’ the memories you made tonight.”
The hospital shared some sweet photos of Swift visiting her fans, including one snuggling up to Sam (above) and three young siblings. “My eldest daughter has had her ultimate dream come true tonight & I can’t say thank you enough for giving my kids the amazing experience tonight of meeting the beautiful Taylor Swift,” one mother captioned a heartwarming photo.
Sending social media into a frenzy, the singer, who is currently staying on the Gold Coast while Hiddleston films Thor: Ragnarok, took selfies with patients, signed autographs and sang some of her hits, during the several hours she spent at the facility.
