When Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris ended their relationship on June 3 it seemed an amicable split.
Harris, 32, whose real name is Adam Wiles, released a statement on Twitter—“liked” at the time by Swift—saying all that remains was “a huge amount of love and respect.”
However photos published by English newspaper The Sun have now emerged of Swift kissing James Bond frontrunner Tom Hiddleston on Rhode Island.
The pair were pictured dancing together at the Met Gala on May 2, one month before news broke of the split between Swift and Harris.
A source close to Harris has told WHO that the music producer “did not know Taylor and Tom were together.”
Hiddleston, 35, said of the Met Gala dance, “I was on a table with Taylor Swift, and the Weeknd was playing, and she said, ‘The thing about these parties is nobody gets up to dance.’”
The Night Manager star claims the singer, 26, instigated the dance-off, which later went viral.
“She said, ‘If they play “I Can’t Feel My Face” we have to get up and dance as an encore.’” The Avengers star leapt on the idea. “I said, ‘I’m in, of course, let’s go! Absolutely.’ We just jumped up and started dancing—and everybody else started dancing—which was great. And it was cool.”
Hiddleston, one of England’s most eligible bachelors, added, “Taylor is a huge star. Maybe it’s just the randomness of it.”
Former flame Harris was not present at the Met Gala, and Swift accompanied Selena Gomez, 23, to the costume extravaganza.
In the aftermath of the new pictures being released Swift and Harris have deleted all photos of their relationship from social-media, including Harris’s break-up statement and unfollowed each other.
Swift, a renowned expert networker, has dated some of Tinseltown’s most notorious ladies’ men including Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, Joe Jonas, John Mayer and Kennedy heir Conor Kennedy.
The “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer owns property in Westerly, Rhode Island, often hosting Fourth of July parties for friends at the mansion.
Earlier this year, Hiddleston was rumoured to be dating Avengers co-star Elizabeth Olsen, although the pair brushed-off any speculation.
