She might not have made herself a fan favourite on this season of The Bachelor, but when the chips were down, Abbie Chatfield says she relied on her castmates/frenemies to help her deal with the fact that the man she’s fallen for is also smitten with four other girls.
Opening up about a group date that went horribly wrong, the controversial contestant said she was cradled to sleep by her co-star Chelsie McLeod after being forced to listen to a sexologist test the physical intimacy between Matt and the other ladies.
It’s no secret Abbie has ruffled a few feathers during her time on the series, with co-stars like Elly Miles and Sogand Mohtat slamming the property analyst for her “manipulative behaviour” after she ratted on Monique Morley, bringing the “dog c**t” scandal to life.
“I couldn’t hold back after seeing how Abbie was one way in front of us girls when the cameras were rolling, then another way to Matt. She is a manipulator and it is time I tell her how it is,” Sogand dished to Sunday Confidential.
“I think she is very young and I don’t think she understands that some of us are older and can see through the bulls–t,” she claimed.
Despite her questionable actions and motives for starring in the show, it’s clear she and Matt have chemistry— but is their bond strong enough for Abbie to be gifted the final rose? Apparently not.
An insider recently revealed to New Idea that Abbie has moved on from Matt, and has since slid into another reality stars DM’s… who’s currently dating her former co-star, Nichole Wood!
“Abbie has been talking to multiple guys on Instagram including Married at First Sight’s Billy Vincent and last year’s runner up from Ali Oetjen’s season of the Bachelorette, Todd King,” an insider dished to New Idea.
While the nature of her chat with Billy remains unknown, the source claimed she isn’t too fussed that Nichole has also been linked to the MAFS star, and was recently caught locking lips with him during an intimate dinner date.
Meanwhile, another clued up insider claimed Abbie has been bragging to the girls about “a hot new lover”.
“I am dating someone, but I can’t say who it is,” she apparently gushed to another contestant. “I wish I could tell you, but I can’t.”
Regardless of her intentions, WHO can exclusively reveal that Abbie makes it to the top four. In the exclusive snaps we’ve obtained from her hometown visit, Abbie and Matt can’t keep their hands off each other as they soak up the sun in Queensland before enjoying a romantic picnic at the beach.
