Although Network Ten has been working tirelessly to keep the juicy details of this season of The Bachelor firmly under wraps, some legend who works at TV Guide accidentally leaked the description for the second episode… and it unveils a major plot twist.
KISS COUNT: The Bachelor’s Matt Agnew smooches 17 girls in new promo!
This year’s format is unlike anything we’ve seen before. Instead of a few intruders (four at most) coming in towards the end of the show, eight new women— who we’ve already seen snaps of— will be introduced in episode two (airing Thursday night).

According to the TV guide description, the unexpected intruders are said to leave the 20 girls who’ve already settled into the mansion “very unhappy”, with some “not willing to take the news lying down”.
I mean, talk about DRAMA!
Want some more juicy goss? Duh.

This morning, Matt Agnew, 31, appeared on Kyle & Jackie O’s radio program where he was grilled about all things pertaining to his sex life. Despite hooking up with a minimum of 17 ladies on this season of hit dating franchise, he claims he’s only slept with…. wait for it… 7 WOMEN IN HIS ENTIRE LIFE.
“How many women do you think you’ve slept with?” radio shock-jock Kyle Sandilands asked the sexy scientist.
Stunned by the question, Matt awkwardly replied, “Funnily enough this is a question on the application form, I’m not sure what the desired answer is either… Rough number… 7. I’m going to stick with that.”
“That’s a very little number,” Kylie teased.
“It’s large enough for me, Kyle.”
While also on air, the astrophysicist opened up about that horrific fail of a trailer showing contestant Abbie Chatfield mistaking Matt’s profession as an astrologer for a star sign.
Their first conversation went a little something like this.
Abbie: What do you do?
Matt: I’m an astrophysicist.
Abbie: OK, I’m a Gemini.
Matt: I’m a Leo.
While the editing made it look like there wasn’t a whole lot going on between her ears (no offence), the devilishly handsome Bachelor has since explained she was pulling our leg! This morning, the devilishly handsome Bachelor was quizzed about their awkward encounter, revealing she’s the biggest jokester we’ll see this season.

“She’s very clever, very witty and loved to wind me up,” he said, to which Kyle replied, “Oh, so she was joking? Here we all are thinking she’s a dumbarse.”
“She knew how to wind me up. You can see based on my reaction it landed particularly well on me and she got the desired effect I think.”
Last week, Matt opened up about his time on the show, reassuring Australia that season seven is going to be different as he chooses someone at the final rose ceremony. So, basically, he’s confirmed he doesn’t pull a Nick Cummins on us!
Asked whether he’d found The One, Matt told The Courier Mail, “Yes, I have. I’m delighted with how the process worked out for me, and I’m very, very happy. I went into it [the show] pretty confident in myself and that I would make the right decision for me.”
PHEW!
